A 28-year old man, Mr. Isiatogwu Godwin and some other youths of the Indigenous People Of Biafra States (IPOB), in July 2015 declared wanted by the Nigeria government, following the recent arrest of their leader and founder of the IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, over a demand to restore the sovereignty of the Republic of Biafrans.

lka weekly correspondent gathered from IPOB branch in Agbor, Delta State, that Nnamdi Kanu was arrested for demanding the freedom, independent and sovereignty of the people of Biafra States. He was told that in line with his arrest, other demonstrators like, Mr. Isiatogwu Godwin, Mr. Emmanuel Okorocha, Ezra Nwanye and other IPOB youth leaders in the Biafra axis were declared wanted.
Speaking in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Divisional Headquarters, Asaba ASP. Osita Kennedy said that Godwin Isiatogwu and all those who are at large will be made to face live imprisonment with hard labour whenever they are apprehended by the security operatives in state so that they will serve as deterrents to others. He therefore charged the youth to desist from criminal vices as the police will not hesitate to deal with any one or group of people who feel that they are above the law or they can take laws into their hands.
