HOMOSEXUAL ACT: ORUE lVIE DECLARED WANTED BY THE NIGERIA POLICE

One Mr Orue Ivie an indigene of Abavo in Ika South Local
Government Area of Delta State, has been declared wanted by the Nigeria
Police Authority for allegedly engaging in homosexual act with one Mr.
Victor Okoh; a criminal offence punishable by 14 years imprisonment and
also abhorred in Abavo Community as a taboo.

In a statement released by the Divisional Police Public Relations
Officer of the Agbor Divisional Headquarters, Assistant Superintendent
Chikodi Anthony, on 1st October 2016, stated that Mr. Orue Ivie, is
wanted by the Police for allegedly engaging in homosexuality which
contravene the Nigerian law and a taboo to the Abavo Community. He
disclosed that his unfortunate sex partner, who is also his master
teaching him work as a mechanic apprentice, Mr. Victor Okoh, has been
apprehended after he was severely beaten by angry mob at his residence
in Agbor and he is currently standing trials on the heinous crime.
In the words of the Assistant Superintendent of Police, "We are out
for Mr. Orue lvie, and we are not going to relent until he is
apprehended to face the full wrath of the law". He enjoined the general
public to come forward with any information that could lead to the
arrest of Mr. Orue Ivie stating that a handsome reward awaits any person
who provides useful information that may lead to his arrest.
Investigation into the matter revealed that Mr. Orue lvie, has been
involved in the act with his gay partner and master, Victor Okoh, since
2010, before they were caught by his master's wife, Mrs. Rita Okoh, at
about 10:pm in the night, on 30th September 2016.
Speaking with newsmen at the Police Station the following day, Mrs.
Okoh, said that she came back from a distant journey the previous night
and was shocked when she opened the door of their bedroom, and saw her
husband Mr. Victor Okoh penetrating Benson, his Mechanic apprentice
through the rear, and immediately raised an alarm which attracted the
neighborhood; she disclosed that the two men were severely beaten up by
the angry mob and that they were later kept and locked in separate rooms
in the compound until the following day being October 1, 2016, when
they invited members of the Nigeria Police Force to arrest the culprits,
only for them to discover that Mr. Orue lvie, had escaped through the
broken ceiling in the room by midnight before day break; saying that his
whereabout is unknown, having searched everywhere to no avail. However,
Mr. Victor Okoh, his accomplice in the act has been arrested and is
currently standing trial for homosexuality, and upon conviction if found
guilty, he would be sentenced to 14 years in Prison.
It was also gathered that a man hunt was placed upon Mr. Orue lvie,
as a result of which he fled Agbor, on 1st October 2016, and since
then, he has not been seen or heard of.
