A 28-year- old native of Owa Alero community in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr Collins Matthew, on the 28th July, 2015 ran for his dear life as his late father's wives, Juliana Collins and Alice Collins were threatening kill him over his attempt to partake in the sharing of his late father's properties. His father, Mr. Collins Okoh, was said to be the leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the North-Eastern Region of Ika Federal Constituency.

Speaking with newsmen, Miss Gift Collins, Matthew's sister, said that they are from a polygamous home in which his father married three wives, Juliana, Alice and her mother, Victoria Collins. She noted that they and their mother were rejected and excluded from the sharing of their late father's properties by the other two wives.
Speaking further, Gift disclosed that Juliana and Alice started threatening to kill them, particularly her brother, Matthew and that when Matthew discovered that they were seriously planning to assassinate him for trying to protect his mother, he had to escape. She said her late Dad's wives have gone to a large extent of distributing Matthew's photographs to cult groups, kidnappers and assassins, saying they should kill him when ever they set their eyes on him.
