COMMUNAL CRISIS: POLICE LAUNCHES WAR AGAINST OGUN STATE YOUTHS OVER DEATH OF TWO SHONGAI TECHNOLOGIES COMPANY STAFF
Men of the Nigerian Police Force, (NPF) have launched war against some youths of the Ogun State Communities for allegedly murdering two Staff of Shongai Technologies Limited Company in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Ajibode Gbenga FolaShongai Technologies Limited Company is an innovative supplier of flexible printing solution, self Adhesive Labels and Mono Cartons, which is located at KM 42, Lagos - Abeokuta Expressway, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Journalists as at the time of filing this report, learnt that one Olamilekan Atila age. 30, his friends who include; Toheeb Olaku, age, 31, Ajibode Gbenga Fola age 3, and Fakunle Ifeoluwa Olaitan Sani, age 29, have been declared wanted by the Police over their involvement in a peaceful demonstration that led the death of two Staff of Shongai Technologies Limited Company, Mr. Fadeyi Emmanuel and Chris Abiodu.
Fakunle IfeoluwaA source who spoke to Journalists on the condition of anonymity, stated that Fakunle Ifeoluwa, Ajibode Gbenga Fola and other wanted persons were declared wanted since January 3rd, 2017.
He further explained that the problem started some time ago when the Shongai Technologies Limited Company found its way to Sango-Ota Community and made a promise to the people that if they fully resume work on site, the land owners will be compensated.
Front view of Shongai Technologies Limited CompanyAccording to him, "I am a living witness to what is going on right now between our people and management of Shongai Technologies Limited Company.
The issue is that during the time the company was about to be established in our land, an agreement was reached between our community leaders and the company workers.
"The agreement was that the company should employ the youths of our community to work them, particularly those whose family members are the rightful owners of the land where the company is sited.
"But the company failed to fulfill her promise that is why the youths went to embark on that peaceful protest to the company's premises, after waiting patiently for the promise to be fulfilled, but it was quite unfortunately that two Staff of the company died in the process when the protest turned blood.
Also as a the time of gathering this information, the company's Main Gate has been closed for now as Police were on ground for proper investigations.
Fakunle Ifeoluwa who is the first in command and Ajibode Gbenga Fola, the second in command to the youths association and other wanted persons have been declared wanted.
Journalists also learnt that the police is particularly about the cases of Ajibode Gbenga Fola and Fakunle Ifeoluwa because both are the leaders, (First and Second in Command) of the youths association.
Meanwhile, the Police have advised the public to report to any of the nearby police station if they get to know the whereabouts of the suspects.
