24-year-
old man, Monday Emma from Owa-Alero, in Ika North East Local Government
Area of Delta State, has been declared wanted by the Nigeria Police
Force, Delta State command for homosexual offence.

Emma who fled from being jailed was said to be a gay by one, Celestine
Onuwa who was caught in the act with another gay partner called Johnny
Okoh in Lorinko Hotel in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta
State, on March 17, 2016.
The
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Celestine Kalu, who
briefed journalists on the issue, said homosexual practice is a serious
crime in Nigeria that attracts 14 years jail term. He promised that a
handsome reward awaits anyone with useful information that would lead to
the arrest of Monday Emma.
He appealed to
members of the public who have information about Monday Emma's
whereabouts to inform the command and the nearest police station.
