 OWA-ALERO COMMUNITY DECLARES WAR AGAINST ANTI CULT SECURITY OUTFIT OVER DEATH OF OGORCHUKWU NONYENIM

The incident took place on 25th of July 2021.


     Members of Owa-Alero Community in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State have declared war against the Anti cult Security outfit over the death of one Mr. Ogorchukwu Nonyenim whom they said was short dead by a member of the Anti cult group during the burial ceremony of a popular Football Coach, Mr. Monday Otobo.

      Narrating the story to Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter, the Anti cult leader, Mr. Richard Felix said that himself and his team got the information earlier on the said date that some group of cultists were shorting sporadically at the burial ceremony of Mr. Monday Otobo which he mobilzed his team to the place.

                       The victim been rushed to the hospital 


     He said on getting the scene, the cultists started dragging  guns with them. He noted that in the cause of dragging the guns with them, one of his members, Mr. Moses Efamehule in an accidental discharge, short Mr. Ogorchukwu Nonyenim to death.

      It was learnt that Mr. Richard Felix's shop in Owa-Alero Community was destroyed by the cultists after the death of Mr. Ogorchukwu Nonyenim.

     Mr. Richard Felix  resides at No. 15 Alika Street, Owa-Alero.

       At at the time of filing this report, Moses Efamehule and other members of the Anti Cult group were also on the run. 

      Meanwhile, the Police are also doing their best through proper investigation to fish out the culprits.
