 70 PEOPLE CONFIRMED DEAD, OVER 200 PEOPLE INJURED AS BOMBS EXPLODED IN NYANYA MOTOR PARK ABUJA 


      Residents of Nyanya, Abuja on the 14th April 2014 have been thrown into mourning as bombs exploded at nyanya motor park and killed  70 people and over 200 sustained injury 

       The bombs explosion, according to an eye witness, occurred at about 6:45 am on the 14th day of April, 2014.

      The source who spoke to Journalist on the condition of anonymity, disclosed that the bombs exploded at a crowded Bus Station in Nynaya Abuja, killing at least 70 people and injuring over 200.

       To the best of my knowledge, this 2014 Nyanya attack was the hand work of Boko Haram people that have been terrorizing this city of Abuja.

      "I want to use this opportunity to appeal to our Government to come to our aid by ensuring that there is peace and security in Nigeria, "he said.

      Speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper Correspondent in Abuja metropolis.

 The Chairman, Owa-Nta Community Development Forum, (ODF) Abuja Branch, Mr. Vincent Iyari described the Nyanya Bombs Blast as a great lost to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and unfortunate incident to the entire people of Ika.

      He stated that late Mrs. Boi Joy one of the bombs blast victim was an active member of the Owa-Nta Community Development Forum, Abuja Branch before her sudden death.

     "According to him, "The death of our fellow colleague, Mrs. Boi Joy  was a painful one. She was a farmer, an encourager and a mother to be reckoned with, according to the eye-withnes Mrs joy just brought her son Boi Chuks to join her in her farming activities

      "For her son, Chuks who recently joined us here in Abuja, I learnt that he was helping his mother to do farm work, on that faithful day chuks  went to someone's farm to work in order to make some money for himself when he got the call that his mother was among the victims of the Nyanya explosion.

      "I want to encourage him and his family members to take heart over the death of their mother and I also pray to God to grant their mother's soul eternal rest, "he concluded.

      Ika Weekly Newspaper Correspondent also learnt that Boi Chuks was living with his grandmother in Ika before joining his mother in Abuja.

     It was also learnt that Chuks lost his father to death at tender age and his mother left him years back due  to some misunderstanding in the family, this made Chuks to live with his grandmother in the village but his uncle always maltreated him and and torment him.

Due to this maltreatment    of Chuks by his uncle, Mrs Boi Joy his biological mother brought him to join her in Abuja.

     As at the time of filing this report, the police have arrived the scene of the explosion to evacuate the corps to the Mortuary for the Government to be taken care of.
