VANDALS ON THE RUN

The Nigerian Police, Delta State Command has declared war against  pipeline vandals in the State as they crippled fuel supply.
Addressing journalists in the State, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Celestine Kalu who frowned over the nefarious activities of the hoodlums, stated that their investigation has shown that they were sponsored by some political bigwigs in Delta State and promised that they will do their best to bring to book whoever that is involved.
According to him, “enough of the damages caused. These hoodlums have not only crippled fuel supply but also, our economy. Sincerely, we are not happy. Anyone who is a party to this if apprehended will be made to face the wrath of the law. Enough is enough”.
He used the opportunity to mention  gang leaders who were declared wanted by the Police, saying that handsome rewards awaits whoever gives the police useful information on the whereabouts of the gang leaders.The suspects include, Chima Onogbo 23 (m) from Kwale, Iman Jeffery 25 (m) from Sapele, Silas Oyenefeko 30 (m) from Ijaw, Peter Prince 30 (m) from Emonu Orogun, Isioma Okonta 27 (m), from Abavo, Johnbull Osomuya 25 (m) from Warri, Florence Omen, 37 (f), Buruty and Joyce  Jonny 26 (f) Ekuku-Agbor.
 
Some of the suspects who were apprehended according to the police confessed to have siphoned 11, 500 liters of crude oil and sold it for #500,000.
Exhibits collectively recovered from the vandals Mercedes Benze 3335, two Tanker Trucks, one Yamaha 40 horse power speed boats, 30 jerry-cans containing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product suspected to be from WRPC/PPMC, welding machine, drilling machine, valves, vandalism tools, electric drilling machine, and five drilling kits. Other items recovered include, Tiger electric generator, 21 pieces of welding electrodes, shifting spanner, five flat spanner, three puncturing rod, one half-length hose, three Saw blades, electric wires, and one loading arm.
