HOMOSEXUALITY: GODSTIME EMEKA OKORIE, PAUL OKAFOR FLEE OVER THREAT TO LIVES

Godstime Emeka Okorie and his love partner, Paul Okafor have been declared wanted by the police and members of Owa-Alizomor Community, their hometown in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, over their involvement in homosexual activities which occured on the 6th October, 2024.
Speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper reporter as at the time of gathering this report, a member of the community's Vigilante Group, Mr. Monday Nwadibie, said that himself and other Vigilante members were on patrol in the evening of October 6th, 2024 when they saw Godstime Emeka Okorie and his lover, Paul Okafor having sex behind an uncompleted building in a bush located at Idumuose Quarters and they decided to raise the alarm that attracted people's attention, leading to the apprehension of both of them.
He stated that he has gone to report the matter to the police for more actions. He said Godstime and Paul were beaten up mercilessly by them and the community members due to the fact that homosexual activities are forbidden acts in the community.
According to him, "We don't take it likely with anybody caught in the acts of homosexual ism. It is either they kill such person or the person will go to jail.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report with Mr. Monday Nwadibie on the 19th of October, 2024 Godstime Emeka Okorie and Paul Okafor were nowhere to be found as they had escaped from where they locked up by the Vigilante members in the community members after beaten them to stupor.
The police and members of Owa-Alizomor Community are searching for Godstime and Paul and they have vowed not to spare their lives whenever they set their eyes on them.
