 OWA-ALERO COMMUNITY DECLARES WAR AGAINST ANTI CULT SECURITY OUTFIT OVER DEATH OF OGORCHUKWU NONYENIM

The incident took place on 25th of July 2021.


     Members of Owa-Alero Community in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State have declared war against the Anti cult Security outfit over the death of one Mr. Ogorchukwu Nonyenim whom they said was short dead by a member of the Anti cult group during the burial ceremony of a popular Football Coach, Mr. Monday Otobo.

      Narrating the story to Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter, the Anti cult leader, Mr. Richard Felix said that himself and his team got the information earlier on the said date that some group of cultists were shorting sporadically at the burial ceremony of Mr. Monday Otobo which he mobilzed his team to the place.

                       The victim been rushed to the hospital 


     He said on getting the scene, the cultists started dragging  guns with them. He noted that in the cause of dragging the guns with them, one of his members, Mr. Moses Efamehule in an accidental discharge, short Mr. Ogorchukwu Nonyenim to death.

      It was learnt that Mr. Richard Felix's shop in Owa-Alero Community was destroyed by the cultists after the death of Mr. Ogorchukwu Nonyenim.

     Mr. Richard Felix  resides at No. 15 Alika Street, Owa-Alero.

       At at the time of filing this report, Moses Efamehule and other members of the Anti Cult group were also on the run. 

      Meanwhile, the Police are also doing their best through proper investigation to fish out the culprits.

As the battle over the Julius Berger Company's failure to fulfil her promise to the concerned youths of Owa-Oyibu Community, the administrative headquarters of Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State  became worse, one of the Community Youth Leaders, Mr. Stanley Friday whose younger brother was allegedly short dead during the battle by the Nigerian Soldiers, has run for his safety over threats to his life.

      According to the report, Julius Berger Company came to establish in Owa-Oyibu Community with the influence and mandate of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Emmanuel O. Efeizomor 11 JP OON, the Obi of Owa Kingdom in the year 2014. Ever since that time, the case between the unemployed youths and the Julius Berger Company has been on, until it finally broke its silence in November 2018 when Stanley led some youths for the protest and lost his brother.

      Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter as at the time of filing this report, learnt that when  the construction company  arrived the Owa-Oyibu Community in 2014, they told the youths to pay them the sum of 10,000 each in order to give them employment in the company, but later the company staff changed their mind by refusing to employ the youths as initially agreed on.

Newsman also learnt that upon that disappointment, the youths decided to embark on a protest to the Julius Berger Company to demonstrate and remind them of their promise made to them before the commencement of their full operations. On getting there, the youths met some military personnel at the main entrance of the company, who in the cause of making argument and dragging guns with the soldiers, one of the soldiers opened fire on Mr. Ken Friday, junior brother to Stanley and short him death.

       As at the time of filing this report, Mr. Stanley Friday who led the youths to the protest was nowhere to be found, as he has been declared wanted by the police.

APC member escapes death as unknown gunmen launch attack

A member of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Umunede, Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria, Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka has escaped  death as unknown gunmen launched attack against him.The ugly incident happened on October 12, 2024 in Agbor, Delta State.


Our reporters reliably gathered that Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka was on his way to the venue of APC  political meeting when unknown gunmen dressed in black attires and armed with dangerous weapons opened fire and shot sporadically into the air, all in a calculated attempt to kill their target, Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka.

A family member of Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka who spoke to journalists on the attack and on the condition of anonymity stated that his brother was in Agbor for the general meeting of his political party, All Progressives Congress, APC when he was suddenly attacked by  yet to be identified gunmen.


He noted, " It was a horrible experience for my brother who never expected such a deadly attack. He narrowly escaped death after he quickly jumped into a nearby bush where he ran for his dear life. 


He disclosed that the recent incident was the third time  his brother, Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka  was attacked in a period of few months, including several life threatening calls and messages he received before the unknown gunmen attacks.


He disclosed that the first attack on his brother, Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka was at his Umunede residence early this year.  His residence was raided by hoodlums  fortunately, he was able to escape through the backdoor but sustained a sharp cut injury on his right leg. 


The second attack came  barely a month after the first attack. In the second attack, his twin brother and the only sibling he has, Mr Emmanuel Wisdom was shot dead in her presence on their way to church on Sunday morning, May 12, 2024.


"We don't want to loose our beloved brother to blood sucking hoodlums who kidnapped our parents, Mr and Mrs Emmanuel Isichei on January 12, 2024. Unfortunately, we don't know their whereabouts since their kidnap, whether they are dead or alive we don't know, hence, we have made all necessary arrangements to secure and keep Emmanuel Williams Onyeka away from his attackers," the family member stated.


However, every attempts made to interview Mr Emmanuel Williams Onyeka by journalists was not successful as his mobile phone number was switched off. It was gathered that the embattled Emmanuel Williams Onyeka ran away from home to an unknown destination leaving his investments on land properties worth millions of naira.


Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Edafe Bright has confirmed the incident, assuring that the police is already carrying out investigations on the incident.

POLICE DECLARED OKOLE BROWN CHIBUZOR WANTED FOR GAY AS PARTNER CONFESSES  

The Nigeria Police Force, Anambra State Command has issued a signal to bring to book a fleeing suspected gay, Okole Brown Chibuzor, a native of Igbodo in Ika North East Local Government Area.

According to Igbodo Divisional Police Officer, Superintendent (SP) Isaac Ogbodu, who briefed journalists on the issue, said the signal he received from the Delta State command on December 22, 2022 mandated his division to bring the fleeing Okole Brown Chibuzor to book.

According to him, “Just as usual, a handsome reward awaits whoever will give us the information to arrest Okole Brown Chibuzor because he has committed the crime and according to the Nigerian constitution, it attracts 14 years jail term.

“Okole Brown Chibuzor, we gathered, is the only son of late Mr. and Mrs. Okole Johnson, whose residence is in Onitsha, Anambra State, where he secretly engaged in a Homosexual act.

“A member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Samuel Onyeka, who was apprehended in the act which led to the death of his gay partner, popularly called So-Love by mob action was the person who confessed that Okole Brown Chibuzor introduced him into having a gay affair as a growing boy. 

“Therefore, the police are leaving no stone unturned toward the search and arrest of Okole Brown Chibuzor, who equally will be made to face the wrath of the law, not only to serve as a deterrent but a reforming to stop luring others into gay”, he stated. 

Also, a member of the Igbodo Community who claimed anonymity said Okole Brown Chibuzor is now on the wanted list of the community and, whenever seen, would pay with his life for engaging in the abominable act of homosexuality.   

   Okole Brown Chibuzor was said to have been on the run following the attack on him by the members of a Biafra group called Avengers in Onitsha, Anambra State, an attack which we gathered has claimed the lives of his parents, the late Mr and Mrs Okole Johnson in 2015.
