DELTA PRIMARY ELECTION: POLICE DECLARES AZIMOR WILSON WANTED

The Delta State Police Command, Asaba Zonal Headquarters, Nigeria has declared the Youth Leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 12 in Owa-Alero community, Ika North East Local Government Area, Mr. Azimor Wilson wanted over electoral misconduct and unlawful possession of sophisticated arms, including his PDP Membership Card found in his bag.

     Speaking with newsmen in Asaba during the Gubernatorial Primary's Election which took place on the 10th of December, 2014, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Delta State Police Command, Asaba, ACP Muhammad Zana said that he was contacted by some of the Electoral Returning Officers at St Patrick's College where the Governorship Primary's Election was taking place in Oshimili South Local Government, that some thugs are in the election premises, destroying all the equipment and major materials belonging to the opposition party, All Progressive Congress's (APC) Candidate during the election. The police also briefed that when himself and his men got to the election ground, the youth leader and  his group, immediately they saw the police coming they all ran into the bush, leaving behind, a bag that contains
Mr. Azimor Wilson's PDP Membership Card, Bullets and other weapons.

   ACP Zana further disclosed that they were informed that the youth leader, Mr. Azimor Wilson  and other youths who claimed to be the supporters of the PDP Candidate. In addition, said that the election returning Officer also told them the youths went into the Streets and started defacing and destroying the bill board, posters and other belongings of the APC Candidate. In his words," my men and I also recovered some PDP  Membership Card belonging to  Wilson Bullets and other sophisticated weapons from the bag that fell from Azimor when he was trying to escape through the school's fence. In light of the above, I have charged my men to arrest thugs wherever they find them, to enable them serve as deterrent to others.
