A gospel artist, Michael Ogbewi has lamented over the injustice on the part of the Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary which according to him had led to the jailing  of many innocent and helpless Nigerians.

Mr. Ogbewi recalled an experience that took place in Auchi, Edo State in 2010 where his fellow chorister, Ugboke Timothy Ehiagwina was convicted and jailed in Oko prison, Edo State for offence which he did not commit.
According to him, “I can still recall vividly that it was a land dispute and their house was set on fire. Members of Ugboke Timothy Ehiagwina family died in the fire incident. The Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary betrayed him in handling the matter and my friend, Ugboke Timothy Ehiagwina was later sent to Oko Prison, Edo State. It was really a bitter experience and a display of injustice”.
While lamenting over  the injustice done to Ugboke Timothy Ehiagwina, Mr.Ogbewi revealed that when he checked on him as at January 5, 2014 that he was said to be among the twelve inmates that escaped from the prison during a bomb blast that happened in 2012 and since then, his whereabouts was unknown.
In tears, he appealed to the Nigerian government to probe the police force and the judiciary of their injustice for a good and better country ahead.
The dark complexion  Ugboke Timothy Ehiagwina was born on March 13, 1976. He hails from Auchi in Edo State.
