ABAVO THRONE CRISIS: UKPERE EMMANUEL DECLARES MISSING

The
Ukpere family in Abavo, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State,
Nigeria has declared one of their sons, Ukpere Emmanuel missing.
Speaking
with journalists after an enlarged meeting of the Ukpere family held
on January 20, 2016, the head of the family, Pa. Ukpere Thomas said that
Ukpere Emmanuel was last seen on January 1, 2016 and ever since, his
whereabouts has remained unknown.

He revealed that
before Ukpere Emmanuel sudden disappearance, his life was under threat
over his refusal to appear before the Delta State High Court in Asaba to
bear false statement in favour of Obi Uche Irenuma to reclaim his
throne which was being challenged by Prince Sunday Ekhartor.
"The
Obi Irenuma unfulfilled quest for him to testify has made our son,
Ukpere Emmanuel to start running for his dear life as the Obi has
threatened to kill him for disobeying his order”.
Pa. Ukpere said members of his family have met to offer prayers for the life of their missing son and brother, Ukpere Emmanuel.
He
used the opportunity to call on members of the public that His Royal
Majesty, Uche Irenuma should be held responsible for whatsoever that
happens to Ukpere Emmanuel.
He concluded by expressing sadness over the nonchalant attitude the police in Abavo Division are handling the matter.
