Posted: July 4, 2015

All is not fine at the moment for the family of  late  Elder David Odiakose as his community, Ute Enugu,in Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria, has declared war on the family, pointing out that members of the family had a hand in the death of their patriarch.

According to reports from the community, "Elder Odiakose died on May 15,2014 after a protracted illness. Unfortunately, rather than commiserate with the family members of the deceased, Ute-Enugu Community unleashed terror on them as able bodied youths numbering up to ten invaded the house and beat up everyone even to unconscious states.Mrs Stella Odiakose, her son, Chukwuyem Odiakose, his wife and children were seriously dealt with.
It was gathered that the community after the attack on Odiakose family also banished them. Our sources gathered that the Odiakose family later settled at Ebuba village after serious injuries have been inflicted on  both Mrs Stella Odiakose and her grand  children.
A member of the family who chose anonymity said that the attack was so much that Chukwuyem Odiakose's wife and children got missing. And in an attempt to save his life Chukwuyem Odiakose moved down to Alioma village where his whereabouts is still unknown. Our family after a long search for Chukwuyem Odiakose got information that he is in Europe. We were very happy that after all the attacks Chukwuyem Odiakose was able to travel to Europe. We are therefore appealing to the authorities there to please allow Chukwuyem Odiakose to remain in that country as the family war has not ended. We want him to be  remain in that country as the family war that drove him out of Nigeria is still on.
