 OLIVER  SUNDAY RUNAWAY OVER THREAT TO HIS LIFE


Mr. Oliver Sunday, an indigene of Idumuebor Quarters, Owa-Alero in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, has been declared missing over treats to his life by members of Ayes, Eyeh and Arobager Fraternities in Ika land.

     Newsmen gathered from a reliable source that Oliver Sunday ran to his friend's house in Benin City, the Capital of Edo State, Nigeria for his safety where he spent a period of ten days before he finally Fled out of the country.

     Oliver Sunday is a Christian, a member of Temple Baptist Church, Owa-Alero Community in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.

     Speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter, during an interview, held on the 7th of May 2018, a Trader/Farmer by profession, (age, 80 years) Mrs. Oliver Blessing stated that she is  legally married one Mr. Oliver Emeke and the marriage is blessed with four children. She further disclosed that sometimes in the year 1992, while on her way to the church, named The Temple  Baptist Church, Owa-Alero Branch, she saw a new born baby boy rapped and kept inside the carton with sunflies around the carton.

      According to her, "Act of pity and mercy of God, I desided to save the baby's life by taking him to the nearby maternity for medication.

     "Thereafter, I took the baby home and started soliciting for my husband's support and cooperation for the child's upbringings.

 I named him, Oliver Sunday m. I am a guidance to him as an adopted child.

      "After sometime, my biological children who knew the circumstances on how Oliver Sunday came into the family as an adopted child, became very angry and were no longer comfortable with him, as they started attacking him, beat him up and inflicted some injuries on his body and I took him to the clinic for medical treatment.

      "All efforts made to integrate Oliver Sunday into the family as my son, were to no avail. I was surprised one day when I returned marked and discovered that Oliver Sunday m. was nowhere to be found. He was at the verge of his secondary school education before his disappearance from home, "she said.

      In addition, Mrs. Oliver Blessing stated that she has gone to report the matter to the police and sworn Affidavit from the Magistrate Court, Asaba over the issues.

      Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter as at the time of filing this report, learnt that Mr. Oliver Sunday was critically attacked and maltreated by the children of Mrs. Oliver Blessing through the efforts of their secret cult members Fraternity members and because of the treats on his life he decided to runway from home.

Gay Act: Agbor Community, Police declare Chukwuma Emeronye Precious wanted

A 33- year- old Nigerian, Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious has been declared wanted by his Agbor Community and the Nigerian Police, Delta State Command for indulging himself in gay practice, a punishable act under the Nigerian constitution.


Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious was caught in the illicit act alongside his estranged male partner, on August 10, 2024 at the Idumu-Oza area in Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria by a member of his community.

The community member who refused to disclose his name due to security reasons said that Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious has been on the watch list of their community for the past one year until he was finally caught in the act with his male partner on August 10.


According to him, " Our people of Idumu-Oza Community, Agbor, Delta State are very angry and pained over the abominable gay act of Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious. We were thinking that he was innocent of the accusation until he was caught red handed in our community having sexual intercourse with his fellow man. Gay practice is seriously condemned in our community and anyone caught in the act will either be killed or expelled so as to appease the gods of our land. Therefore, our community leaders have met and declared that Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious has been expelled from Agbor. Our leaders have also directed that he should be killed if he returns to Agbor."


Meanwhile, Nigeria Police, Delta State Command, has declared Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious wanted for his involvement in gay practice report of August 10, 2024. This was contained in a statement signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Bright Edafe. The Delta State Police Command has by the announcement beamed its searchlight on Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious. SP Bright Edafe said in the statement that if caught,  Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious will be prosecuted and jailed.


However, efforts were made by journalists to interview Mr Chukwuma Emeronye Precious but, he was not seen or heard as his phone number was switched off. It was reliably gathered that he has ran away for the safety of his dear life.
