OLIVER SUNDAY RUNAWAY OVER THREAT TO HIS LIFE
Mr. Oliver Sunday, an indigene of Idumuebor Quarters, Owa-Alero in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, has been declared missing over treats to his life by members of Ayes, Eyeh and Arobager Fraternities in Ika land.
Newsmen gathered from a reliable source that Oliver Sunday ran to his friend's house in Benin City, the Capital of Edo State, Nigeria for his safety where he spent a period of ten days before he finally Fled out of the country.
Mrs. Oliver Blessing with little Oliver SundayOliver Sunday is a Christian, a member of Temple Baptist Church, Owa-Alero Community in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking with Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter, during an interview, held on the 7th of May 2018, a Trader/Farmer by profession, (age, 80 years) Mrs. Oliver Blessing stated that she is legally married one Mr. Oliver Emeke and the marriage is blessed with four children. She further disclosed that sometimes in the year 1992, while on her way to the church, named The Temple Baptist Church, Owa-Alero Branch, she saw a new born baby boy rapped and kept inside the carton with sunflies around the carton.
According to her, "Act of pity and mercy of God, I desided to save the baby's life by taking him to the nearby maternity for medication.
The abandoned Oliver Sunday"Thereafter, I took the baby home and started soliciting for my husband's support and cooperation for the child's upbringings.
I named him, Oliver Sunday m. I am a guidance to him as an adopted child.
"After sometime, my biological children who knew the circumstances on how Oliver Sunday came into the family as an adopted child, became very angry and were no longer comfortable with him, as they started attacking him, beat him up and inflicted some injuries on his body and I took him to the clinic for medical treatment.
"All efforts made to integrate Oliver Sunday into the family as my son, were to no avail. I was surprised one day when I returned marked and discovered that Oliver Sunday m. was nowhere to be found. He was at the verge of his secondary school education before his disappearance from home, "she said.
In addition, Mrs. Oliver Blessing stated that she has gone to report the matter to the police and sworn Affidavit from the Magistrate Court, Asaba over the issues.
Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter as at the time of filing this report, learnt that Mr. Oliver Sunday was critically attacked and maltreated by the children of Mrs. Oliver Blessing through the efforts of their secret cult members Fraternity members and because of the treats on his life he decided to runway from home.
