IPOB declares war against Nigerian youths over actualization of Biafra nation
As the struggle towards the realization of the creation of the sovereign state of Biafra intensifies, the Independent People of Biafra, IPOB, a pro Biafran group has declared war against youths in all parts of Nigeria. The dreaded group according to its assistant leader, Maxi Okafor Kelechi, was out to build more support for Biafra.
He noted that Southeastern Nigeria has become one of his group's operational areas because it will serve as a boost in the Biafran struggle when IPOB takes over activities in the area.
Meanwhile, the IPOB internal war against the Southeast, particularly in Onitsha has rendered many residents of the area dead, while some have become injured and homeless. One of the affected families was the Ekene family. According to a member of the family, Mr Osakwe Nathaniel, IPOB members on August 20, 2022 raided many parts of Southeast Nigeria, particularly, Onitsha where they left the once bubbling city to be a shadow of itself.
He stated that his family lost almost everything in the attack as himself and his younger brother, Goodluck Ekene narrowly escaped death.
He added that before now, IPOB had invited his younger brother, Goodluck Ekene and other able bodied youths in the city to join the Biafran struggle, unfortunately, Goodluck Ekene and his friends declined the offer.
He further explained that the outcome of the action of Goodluck Ekene and his friends, including other negative reports from other parts of the country prompted the severe attacks.
He told newsmen that the IPOB leader in Onitsha, Maxi Okafor Kelechi has sent serious message to all IPOB members in the thirty six states in Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja to deal mercilessly with youths like Goodluck Ekene and his cohorts anywhere they are found in Nigeria for refusing to support the creation of Biafra.
He also disclosed that his brother, Goodluck Ekene left their village in Delta State due to deadly attacks in the family where three out of their parents five children died mysteriously. He revealed that Goodluck Ekene left their village for Onitsha in Anambra for the safety of his life but, unfortunately, Onitsha became another dead zone for him due to the deadly attacks and threats from IPOB members.
Meanwhile,when contacted, Mazi Okafor Kelechi said that there is no going back in IPOB decision to destroy everyone working against his group.
However, attempts to reach Goodluck Ekene was not successful as he was completely out of reach at the time of filling this report. However, his brother had revealed that Goodluck Ekene and some of his friends have ran to Libya since their safety was no more guaranteed in Nigeria. He used the medium to appeal to them not to return to Nigeria as IPOB members are in different parts of the country hunting for those against the Biafran interest.
