Lesbians run for dear life as police, residents go tough on them

Two residents of Benin-City, the capital of Edo State, Nigeria, Blessing Jimoh and Mirabel Osaromore, both lesbians, have ran away from the ancient city so as to secure their lives as  residents and police went tough on them.

                     Blessing Jimoh.

Truth about the activities of the lesbians was revealed in September, 2015 after they were caught having intercourse by their neighbors. The angry neighbors who were shocked with the abominable act did not only attack Blessing Jimoh and Mirabel Osaromore but also, called the police for their arrest.

A member of Blessing Jimoh family, who refused to disclose his name due to security reasons, stated that his sister (Blessing Jimoh) and her friend, Mirabel Osaromore were almost killed by the residents, fortunately, they narrowly escaped the attacks and ran for their dear lives before men of the Nigerian Police arrived the scene.

He added, " My sister is a good girl who lives a simple life style. Mirabel Osaromore has been her friend and they stayed together happily. Trouble started after some residents of their area noticed that they are lesbians. On the fateful day the residents caught them romancing each other , they attacked and almost killed them if not for their narrow escape."

He revealed that the Police have visited Blessing Jimoh family compound in Benin-City several times in search of her, warning that she must be arrested alongside Mirabel Osaromore, so that they will face the wrath of the law, which is 14years jail term as stipulated in the Nigerian Constitution. It should be noted that the Nigerian government condemns same sex marriage (Lesbianism and Gay) and it is a punishable offense in the country's constitution.

While advising his sister, Blessing Jimoh not to return to Benin-City at the moment because of her safety, he appealed to the government as well as residents to sheathe their swords and temper justice with mercy.

However, our reporters gathered that Blessing Jimoh is no more safe any where in Nigeria as both the residents and police have vowed not to relent until she is penalized.
