FEAR GRIPS MEMBERS OF EKUKU-AGBOR COMMUNITY AS OGBONI  FRATERNITY DECLARED ONYEMARIN DONALD NDUKA WANTED

      Residents of Ekuku-Agbor community in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, have been griped by great fear as members of the Ogboni Fraternity, on Friday, March 11, 2016 declared a 30 years old man, Mr. Onyemarin Donald Nduka wanted for refusing to take over from his father, Mr. Sylvester Onyemarin, the Chief Priest of the Ogboni Secret Cult.

    Speaking during an interview with Ika Weekly reporter, the Leader of the Ogboni Fraternity, Chief Melekwe Okoro, said that it is part of their constitution that when a bonafide member of the Fraternity dies or is unable to participate due to illness, the first son of such member will be made to take over his father's position. He stressed that when the person's son refuses to comply, they will kill him and sacrifice his blood to the gods.

     Speaking further, Chief Okoro disclosed that Sylvester Onyemarin has been so active and contributive to the Fraternity's growth and development, saying but the reason why his son, Donald was forced to take over his position as Chief Priest is because he has been sick and can no longer carry out his official responsibility. He concluded by stating that Mr. Onyemarin Donald Nduka will definitely face the wrath of their laws whenever he comes back from anywhere he ran to.
    In another development, newsmen also leant that Mr. Onyemarin Donald Nduka in a genuine Christian and that he has been very dedicated and committed to the work of God. For that reason, he refusing to join the Ogboni Fraternity. Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, Donald was nowhere to be found as he has run for his dear life.

A resident of Agbor, the headquarters Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Mrs. Alexander Esosa, on Wednesday, August 1, 2019, visited the Ika Weekly head office, situated at No 108, Old Lagos Asaba Road, Agbor, to declare that her younger sister, Iyen Sonia Oghogho, who is a hairstylist has gone missing.



 According to Mrs. Alexander Esosa, Iyen Sonia Oghogho lived in the same house with her until she went missing on July 28, 2019. She also stated that on that fateful day, Sonia left for work in the morning, but failed to return home in the evening as was usually the case. Since then, Mrs. Esosa has sought to know the whereabouts of Sonia Oghogho, but have been unable to make any significant progress.

Speaking amidst tears, Mrs. Alexander said: “since Sonia went missing, I have wandered in search of her, all to no avail. Even the local vigilante group and the Agbor Police Division which I reported the issue of her sudden disappearance to, have been unable to find any trace of her. I have been having sleepless nights! How do I tell my family members who are currently unaware about the situation of things that my younger sister, Iyen Sonia who is supposed to be under my care, is currently missing? God help me!”

She further used the medium to call on members of the public who might have some knowledge of Sonia’s whereabouts, to contact the nearest security outfit
